Bethel Happy Daycare Center Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure a well-stocked and organized learning environment.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping accurate and detailed records of children's progress.
  • Engage children in activities that foster their creativity, curiosity, and love for learning.
  • Guide and assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture to create a safe and inviting space for children.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors for review and feedback.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share best practices, and address any concerns or challenges.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
