Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer to join our team at Rubicon Path. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modular, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on speed, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Web Applications: Create efficient, modular, and scalable web applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Collaborate with IT Professionals: Work closely with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and ongoing support of applications.
  • Resolve Technical Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during the use and operation of software packages, providing technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.
  • Develop AODA Compliant Web Applications: Design and develop web applications that meet Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) standards.
Requirements
  • 5 Years of Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM): Implement and manage OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and JWT, along with handling PKI certificates and API keys/secrets.
  • 10 Years of Experience in Programming and Analysis: Specialized support in various software packages, including a strong focus on Java and the Spring Boot Framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and API Gateways: Integrate frontend UI with constructed APIs and develop AODA compliant web applications.
  • 10 Years of Hands-on Experience with Relational and Hierarchical Databases: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, particularly with Oracle.
  • Strong Understanding of DevOps Practices: Manage CI/CD pipelines and use tools like Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ONE ID for Authentication and Access Management: Implement and manage authentication and access management systems.
  • Experience in Developing or Integrating Systems to Interface with OntarioMD's Health Report Manager (HRM): Develop or integrate systems to interface with OntarioMD's Health Report Manager, including report generation and transmission.

Please note that experience with ONE ID and OntarioMD's Health Report Manager is desirable but not mandatory.
