Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Helper to join our team at Skyway Plumbing & Gas Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various aspects of plumbing and construction work, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, prioritizing safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Support tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, fostering a collaborative and productive team dynamic.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check

  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
  • Permanent work term and 40 hours per week
