Our Horizontal Infrastructure Business Unit has a proven track record of delivering high-quality infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities, and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and other major municipalities.
  • Assist in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications, and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering work.
  • Prepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications, and meeting minutes.
  • Liaise with clients and sub-consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Conduct Quality Management reviews to ensure that corporate policies are followed and documented.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation design engineering, preferably with local experience in the consulting industry.
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.
  • P.Eng. designation or ability to register.
  • Knowledge of applicable design standards.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and proposal writing skills.
  • Past experience in contract administration is an asset.
