Job Summary
Randstad Canada is seeking a highly motivated and organized administrative assistant to support our transportation company in Winnipeg.
About the Role
As an administrative support coordinator, you will provide general support to the team, manage schedules, organize files, and handle correspondence. You will also be responsible for data entry, greeting visitors, and directing clients or employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Manage and organize appointments and deliveries
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of correspondence
- Data entry and maintaining an electronic database
- Greet and direct visitors, clients, or employees
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience in the transportation industry is an asset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Tech savvy and experience in various software (TRUCKMATE experience considered an asset)
- Ability to deal with varying personalities including internal and external clients
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and high-paced work environment
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- Well-developed problem-solving abilities
