Executive Chef Position in a Fast-Paced Kitchen Environment

This is an exciting opportunity to join Jack's Family Restaurant as an Executive Chef. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Culinary Operations: Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that the kitchen is clean and well-organized.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them improve their skills and performance.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
