Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities, as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field, an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
