Job Title: Home Health Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Olivia Morales Aguilera. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with feeding and hydration.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Administer medications and assist with mobility, as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the client's needs.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Health Care Worker, you will be working in a non-smoking environment.

Work Setting:

You will be working in the client's home, providing one-on-one care and support.

Security and Safety:

We require a medical exam prior to employment and a criminal record check.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available for travel to and from client homes.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending and lifting. You must be physically capable of performing tasks that require up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling.

Personal Suitability:
  • Client focus and dependability are essential for this role.
  • Flexibility and initiative are also required to adapt to changing client needs.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are necessary to provide high-quality care and support.

We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
