Job Title: Clinical Programs Project Planning Leader

Job Summary:

The Clinical Programs Project Planning Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitments of Fraser Health. This position leads, plans, coordinates, and implements assigned projects related to the preparation and movement of specialized clinical program areas. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and facilities planning teams to develop transition, integration, and implementation strategies that achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads assigned projects related to the integration of specialized clinical program areas, including idea generation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Provides strategic advice to groups on complex multi-stakeholder, multi-disciplinary change initiatives and skilled leadership throughout each step in the process.
  • Coordinates and manages projects within a strategic change context, overseeing the development and implementation of plans.
  • Functions as a strategic resource to ensure an optimal structure, design, and implementation of changes to achieve desired outcomes and benefits.
  • Liaises with key support areas and stakeholders to ensure critical support outcomes are achieved.
  • Applies change management principles to develop engagement strategies and action plans to maximize the likelihood of success.
  • Builds relationships with stakeholders, including physicians, to ensure input into clinical design, processes, and outcomes.
  • Identifies and manages key stakeholder strategies and works closely with designated teams and Communications to develop communication strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or related field, Planning, or Business Administration.
  • Seven years' recent related clinical operations experience, including planning, project management, and/or organizational transformation.

  • Professional/Technical Capabilities: Working knowledge of change and project management principles, coupled with a strong understanding of the healthcare system and the clinical program being supported.
