About the Position
We are seeking two full-time radiologists to join our team in the Emergency & Trauma Radiology Division at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto.
Role Overview
The successful candidates will provide interpretation of acute care imaging, including overnight on-call coverage, and will be expected to play a contributing role in all areas of subspecialty emergency and trauma imaging. They will also be an integral part of the teaching faculty of our Undergraduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, Residency, and Fellowship Programs as a Clinician-Teacher.
Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary based on a fee-for-service model is offered, with an estimated annual income range of $300,000-$500,000 for a full-time equivalent. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
Qualified applicants should hold an MD or equivalent, as well as a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent. They should also be eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), with sufficient experience to perform subspecialty work in Emergency and Trauma Imaging.
Location and Culture
This opportunity is located at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a fully affiliated hospital with over 1300 beds. The department has recently completed a major upgrade of medical imaging equipment, including the installment of 4 new MRI machines and 4 new CT machines, all state-of-the-art with DECT capability.
