Remedial Cementing Specialist

Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remedial Cement Operator to join our team. As a Remedial Cement Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining field equipment, performing shop maintenance, and supporting the operational business.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain, prepare, and operate a pumper for each job, ensuring all components are in working order.
- Develop and apply an understanding of all gauges in the operator panel, monitoring pump pressure, rates, densities, and volume during pumping performance.
- Inspect and perform function tests before equipment leaves the yard, ensuring all components are in working order.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance and repairs, submitting paperwork before shift end.
- Perform shop maintenance on field equipment when required, including pumper spring maintenance and fluid end inspections.
- Rebuild Chiksans and Neutron valves, ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist the Supervisor in job preparations and incident reporting, adhering to and enforcing company safety policies.
- Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives.
- Establish and maintain procedures to ensure a high level of service, driving well servicing equipment with a trailer (pup unit) to and from well sites as required.
- Mentor Operator 1's in obtaining their class 1 (Canada) / CDL (U.S.) license, participating in training and development activities.
- Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg, bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times (subject to change due to market conditions).
- Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
- Experience in oil and gas field operations.
- Experience with rig in and rig out procedures, mixing and pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, final inspections, and clean up.
- Experience with equipment and components, including pumping equipment.
- Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined, and able to troubleshoot.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
- Flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Understands the importance of safety.
- Team player and customer service focused.
- Demonstrated initiative and results orientated.
- Experience in both primary and remedial cementing.
- Experience operating Twins.
- Experience dealing with customers.
