About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at City Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure patient safety and compliance.
  • Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications and maintaining prescription records.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records, ensuring that our pharmacy is always stocked and ready to meet patient needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and meets safety standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that our pharmacy has everything required to operate efficiently.
  • Scheduling and Workflow: Assist with scheduling and workflow, ensuring that patient appointments are managed effectively and that our pharmacy runs smoothly.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
Work Environment

As a Pharmacy Assistant at City Pharmacy, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.

The primary language of work is English.
