About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at City Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure patient safety and compliance.
  • Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications and maintaining prescription records.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records, ensuring that our pharmacy is always stocked and ready to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling, workflow, and other administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our pharmacy.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, including sterilization equipment and instrumentation, to ensure that it is in good working order.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that our pharmacy is always stocked and ready to meet customer needs.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and service.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
Work Environment

As a Pharmacy Assistant at City Pharmacy, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals on a daily basis.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work

The regular hours of work are 35 hours per week.
