Job Title: Freight Truck Driver

Iceberg pure water is seeking a reliable and skilled Freight Truck Driver to join our team. As a Freight Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Work Environment

The work environment is dusty, and you will be required to work in a physically demanding role. You will be responsible for overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
