About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Specialist to join our team as a Technical Property and Casualty Specialist. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall underwriting of the Property and Casualty line of business within the Corporate Underwriting department. This includes developing and revising corporate underwriting guidelines, authority, products, and reinsurance protocols. You will work closely with other departments, such as Pricing, ERM, and IT, to introduce new or amended products and guide the development of procedures related to such changes.

Key responsibilities include acting as a contributor and contact for P&C Corporate Underwriting, providing direction and support to regions and divisions on underwriting matters, and engaging in underwriting decision-making when risks fall outside regional authority. You will also identify and implement necessary changes to underwriting and pricing guidelines to support corporate objectives and maintain the integrity of our pricing, policy, and practices.
