About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP FICO Functional Analyst to join our team at TC Energy. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the financial and controlling functions within the SAP system, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document financial and controlling business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement and maintain SAP FICO modules.
  • Provide functional support for financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct system testing and support user training for financial applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in financial projects and initiatives to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a functional analyst in financial or controlling systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations and controlling processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO or similar financial management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
