Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Supervise and train staff members to ensure that they are meeting the high standards of the restaurant
  • Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Work Environment:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, interacting with customers, staff, and management. The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.

The primary language of work is English.Hours of Work:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
