Job Title: Special Education Tutor In-home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Tutor to support students with autism and/or learning disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
  • Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, and assignments
  • Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
  • Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
  • Offering feedback on progress to students' parents
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
