Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Tutor to provide one-on-one support to students with autism and/or learning disabilities in their homes. As a Tutor with School is Easy Greater Vancouver, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence.

Responsibilities
  • Student Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need, and develop personalized plans to support their academic success.
  • Academic Support: Assist students with homework, projects, and test preparation, and provide guidance on study strategies, note-taking skills, and test-taking approaches.
  • Progress Monitoring and Feedback: Regularly monitor students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Communication with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents to keep them informed of their child's progress and provide feedback on their child's strengths and areas of need.
Requirements

We are looking for a Tutor who is passionate about supporting students with special needs and has the following qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to individual students' needs and learning styles
  • Flexibility to work in various locations in the Greater Vancouver area
