About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MuleSoft Developer to join our team at Modes. As a Senior MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and APIs on the MuleSoft Platform to meet our clients' enterprise needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration patterns and technical direction of MuleSoft API and Integration projects
  • Participate in the scoping, design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications, working closely with client stakeholders throughout the process
  • Gather detailed technical requirements in support of client business outcomes and present solution requirements and design elements to client stakeholders
  • Design, develop, and deploy API integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and related product components
  • Analyze application and system problems and develop recommendations and solutions for those problems
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical solution documentation for MuleSoft solutions delivered to clients
  • Participate in calls with clients or potential clients to discuss requirements, debug issues, and talk through complex technical topics
  • Conduct demo sessions and participate in providing estimates for project proposals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing integrations and APIs with MuleSoft
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Management, and CloudHub
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and micro-services architectures, with a background in API design and Web Services
  • Ability to program in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#,.NET, SQL
  • Experience in delivering real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutions and explaining the benefits of various application integration patterns
  • Comfortable working with client stakeholders to obtain solution requirements and ability to provide end-to-end solutions, along with proven experiences implementing those solutions and participating in solutions meetings with clients
  • Experience collaborating with project team members in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences, including both business and technical
  • Experience with agile development and industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Integration experience with Salesforce and knowledge of the Financial Services industry is preferred
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 2 or higher required (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the Financial Services Industry and systems such as Core Banking, etc.
  • Salesforce admin or developer certification
