We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve annual targets
- Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
- Collaborate with our research team to identify funding opportunities and develop proposals
- Manage and execute fundraising events and campaigns
- Provide excellent stewardship to our donors and ensure timely recognition of their support
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit or academic setting
- Proven track record of success in securing major gifts and developing strategic fundraising plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
