Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer Lead to join our Data Preparation and Insights team in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of the team, you will lead full-stack developers in designing, planning, and coding best-in-class features on the Qlik platform.
You will work with developers from Ottawa and the east coast region, delivering analytics and data integration features using React, Java, and other languages in a Kubernetes environment at scale.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern JS frameworks, strong understanding of client technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as cloud infrastructure expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the full lifecycle of feature development, from design to architecture, development planning, execution, testing, and delivery.
- Lead a team of developers in planning and execution.
- Run daily standups with developers.
- Meet regularly with leadership and stakeholders to provide status updates.
- Design and implement innovative User Interfaces using modern client technologies.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers, leading by example, evangelizing best coding practices, and providing code reviews.
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience collaborating with design teams, R&D, Product Management, and other parts of the organization.
- Strong understanding of established design patterns.
- Cloud infrastructure expertise, including Docker container engines, Kubernetes, and related tools like Grafana, Splunk/Dynatrace.
