Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for light housekeeping and cleaning duties, preparing and serving nutritious meals, and providing companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as dressing and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to caregivers and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
