Job Title: GTA Quality Manager

At Davis-Standard, we are seeking a highly skilled GTA Quality Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our quality practices. This role is responsible for supporting the Operations' achieve Surpass Operating System and Quality Management System goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and sustain quality management processes to improve operational processes, quality, and reduce operating costs.
  • Manage our Quality Management System to ensure continued compliance with international certification bodies, including ISO.
  • Lead site quality team functions, including incoming inspection, customer feedback, part inspection, supplier quality assessments, NCR's, CAR's, and final test.
  • Assess and analyze operational performance to identify and eliminate waste, organize around Lean processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor site operational improvement project activities to assure control of milestones, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
  • Support and implement results of analysis work and status of CI initiatives.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide appropriate advice, counsel, and guidance.
  • Interface with all site level management to resolve problems and issues regarding design, quality, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or closely related field.
  • Effective communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in quality assurance systems in a manufacturing environment.
