  • Review and ensure implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risks associated with our business.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Compliance:
  2. Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the firm's compliance program.
  3. Draft, review, and ensure implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  4. Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports to relevant authorities as necessary.
  5. Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risks associated with our business.

Legal:

  1. Lead the process for obtaining necessary financial licenses and registrations for current and future products.
  2. Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure financial products and services comply with Canadian laws.
  3. Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and corporate governance documents.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range CAD$180,000-$220,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Equity ranging from 0.25%-1.00%.
  • 4 weeks vacation.
  • Enrollment in group's health benefits after probation period.
