Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our cardiology department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions in children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases in children and adolescents
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
  • Prescribe medication and treatment plans
  • Refer patients for surgery and other medical procedures
  • Supervise laboratory activities and order diagnostic tests
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Completion of a pediatric cardiology fellowship program
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Ontario
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
