Job Title: Cardiovascular Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a Cardiovascular Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases in children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases in children
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
  • Prescribe medication and treatment
  • Refer patients for surgery
  • Treat diseases and physiological disorders
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Supervise laboratory activities
  • Act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
