At Killam Apartment REIT, we are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Parkside Drive & Greenfields Court in Fredericton, NB. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some flexibility.

About the Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing a clean and safe environment for residents. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;
  • Washing windows and interior walls;
  • Picking up garbage;
  • Emptying trash cans and other waste containers;
  • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs;
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of common areas;
  • Cleaning vacant units;
  • Reporting deficiencies to the Property Manager for repair;
  • Performing other duties as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role (considered an asset);
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • The ability to work independently;
  • Solid communication skills.
