Job Summary

At WESTWOOD MILLWORKS, we are seeking a skilled Cupboard and Vanity Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing exterior and interior prefabricated products, including kitchen cabinets and vanities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated products, including kitchen cabinets and vanities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated products
  • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Supervise other workers
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent. This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, making it a green job.
