Accountant Job Description

RJM Tax & Accounting Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and providing financial advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements and reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Advice: Provide financial advice to clients, including recommendations on cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning.
  • Financial Planning: Develop financial plans for clients, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation, including the Income Tax Act and the Canadian Business Corporations Act.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
