Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Everly Drywall Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet client specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a stable installation.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a professional finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a seamless finish.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling are required to perform tasks.
  • Hand-eye coordination is essential for precise installation.
  • Standing for extended periods is necessary to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency as the primary language of communication.
