**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Analytics Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Health Information Management department to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

**Responsibilities:

* Monitor documentation practices and identify errors for corrections and resolutions as per documentation standards and guidelines.
* Ensure the provision of accurate and quality data from all stakeholders for decision-making, external reporting, and benchmarking.
* Perform data quality audits and analysis to help identify solutions to data quality and data validation problems and implement preventative measures.
* Identify trends and outliers in data, follow-up with end-users and managers to ensure standards of practice are maintained.
* Coordinate and monitor the data quality activities initiated from the Data Quality and Analytics Committee and act as a co-facilitator for the meetings.
* Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the Corporate Data Quality Scorecard and make recommendations to implement strategies for continuous quality improvement.

**Requirements:

* 2 or more years of previous relevant healthcare and process analysis and data analysis experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of patient registration and health information management.
* Experience working with hospital administrative data (DAD, NACRS, OMHRS, NRS, and CCRS) and other large healthcare datasets.
* Prior experience in working with SharePoint and a Business Intelligent tool, particularly Power BI.
* Background and experience in working with hospital Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specially Meditech Expanse.
* Certified Health Information Management Professional and member of Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).
