Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified French as a Second Language (FSL) teacher to join our team at the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching FSL to students in a hybrid model, which includes teaching FSL and other subjects such as Music, Health, and Visual Arts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach FSL to students in a hybrid model, which includes teaching FSL and other subjects such as Music, Health, and Visual Arts.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices.
Requirements
  • Must hold French qualifications.
  • Must be certified to teach in Ontario.
  • Must have experience teaching FSL in a hybrid model.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
