As a Heavy Duty Technician at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, you will play a critical role in maintaining the performance, safety, and longevity of our mobile and stationary equipment.
Working closely with our Operations teams, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing large heavy-duty machinery and vehicles, including snowcats, winch cats, snowmobiles, ATVs, and heavy equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance and safety
- Troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical issues
- Executing preventative maintenance programs, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Ensuring high-quality relationships with other mountain departments
- Adhering to environmental policies and programs
- Following established company systems and standards for vehicle maintenance
