Palladium Family Restaurant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Prepare and cook simple food items, such as fruits and vegetables
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen
  • Stock and organize kitchen supplies, including cleaning products and food items
  • Assist with food preparation, including peeling, slicing, and trimming
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area for kitchen supplies
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Physically demanding, with frequent lifting and standing
  • Repetitive tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing
Language:
  • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts
