Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at NB Inc. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and serving food and beverages to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
