Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare Production Reports
- Create accurate and detailed reports on production activities, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Supervise Workers and Projects
- Direct and manage a team of maintenance workers, providing guidance and support to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
- Co-ordinate and Schedule Activities
- Develop and implement schedules to optimize maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Train or Arrange Training
- Identify training needs and arrange relevant courses or workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Estimate Costs and Materials
- Conduct thorough cost analyses and materials assessments to inform budgeting and procurement decisions.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to strict health and safety protocols, minimizing risks and promoting a safe working environment.
- Material Requisition
- Order necessary materials and equipment, maintaining optimal inventory levels and reducing waste.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
