Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Project Director to lead the implementation of Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (mNPR) across nursing practice areas in Fraser Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and driven professional to mobilize and advance all elements of the implementation while applying strategic project direction and expertise.

The successful candidate will be accountable for supporting the work of the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team, providing expert advice and guidance, and informing the implementation plan. They will also carry out delegated functions from the Executive Director, Clinical Lead mNPR Implementation, and collaborate with key internal corporate teams, sites, unit, community, and union representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides effective leadership and expert advice in the implementation of mNPR across nursing practice areas in Fraser Health.
  • Executes priority tasks from the mNPR implementation plan to ensure reporting and monitoring as required.
  • Promotes mNPR as an attribute of a compassionate quality learning environment.
  • Guides and leads assigned areas from the mNPR implementation project team and acts as a liaison across nursing practice areas.
  • Collaborates with key partners, including union representatives, and services such as Staffing Services, Human Resources, Strategic Transformation, operational leadership, data analytics, evaluation, and financial management departments.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a master's degree plus ten (10) years recent experience in complex healthcare environments.
  • Five (5) years progressive project and/or change management leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organization change and build collaborative partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze performance and evaluation metrics and translate information into process and quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles and their application in the workplace.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is CAD $59.56 - $85.62 per hour, based on the location and industry standards.
