Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager of Milk Procurement and Governmental Affairs. This role will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality milk to meet our production needs while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to secure a consistent supply of high-quality milk.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and foster new partnerships.
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting the dairy industry.
- Represent the company in regulatory discussions, hearings, and industry forums.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in milk procurement, agricultural/dairy policy analysis is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of the dairy industry, including market trends and regulatory environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
