Truck Mechanic Role with Canada Inc

Description: Automotive service technicians diagnose and repair problems with cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
Salary Range: An estimated $28.05 per hour, based on the location of Mississauga, ON L5S 1J5, which is a common rate for this role in the area.

ResponsibilitiesAs a skilled automotive service technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining Vehicle Systems: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Road Tests: Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components.
- System Repairs: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Diagnosing Issues: Diagnose faults and malfunctions.
- Unit Repair: Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
- Testing and Adjustment: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
- Cost Estimation: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service.
- Reporting Requirements: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Work Review: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.
Required Skills: To succeed in this role, you'll need a college diploma or certificate from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, along with relevant experience in a similar field. Proficiency in English is also essential.
