Truck Maintenance Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Truck Maintenance Technician to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and running efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and be able to diagnose and repair complex issues with our trucks. You will also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical skills to diagnose and repair complex issues with our trucks
- Inspect Vehicles: Regularly inspect our vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
What We Offer

- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a maintenance-related role
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and certification in heavy vehicle mechanics
