Financial Analyst

Heritage Co-op is a leading retailer in Western Canada, with over 500 team members serving communities across the region. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our finance team.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including period-end statements and sales reports
• Calculate and review inventory levels prepared by departments
• Investigate monthly margins to ensure accurate financial representations
• Analyze fixed assets and general ledger accounts for proper support and clearance
• Provide administrative support for period-end processes
• Assist with annual budgeting process for departments and divisions
• Support internal and external audit functions during year-end

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting or a related field. The successful candidate will have:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce, or Business
• Relevant accounting experience
• Professional Accountant (CPA) designation considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with QuickBooks considered an asset

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including group life insurance, short- and long-term disability, extended health and dental coverage, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
