Job Summary

TD Insurance is seeking an experienced Automobile Appraiser to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body work and mechanical repairs, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

This position involves conducting thorough vehicle inspections, writing estimates, and negotiating with repair shops to ensure accurate and timely repairs. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in a related field and experience working in an auto body shop or appraising auto damages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to determine damage and required repairs
  • Write accurate and detailed estimates for repair costs
  • Negotiate with repair shops to ensure fair pricing and timely repairs
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in auto body work or appraising auto damages
  • Technical degree in a related field (e.g. automotive technology, collision repair)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
What We Offer
