Job DescriptionThis role involves providing one-on-one therapy services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) and their families in their homes. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, and caregivers to address client-centered goals, design treatment plans, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments in home settings using standardized tools based on presenting impairments or diagnoses.
- Develop treatment plans utilizing evidence-based information, best practices, and clinical expertise.
- Engage clients, families, and caregivers to address client-centered goals.
- Provide coaching to clients and families.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness, client response, and progress towards achieving goals.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Registration with CASLPO.
- Excellent assessment and intervention skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience providing home-based services.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with strong organizational abilities.
- Proof of professional liability insurance.
- Vulnerable Sector Check.
