Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Plans Reviewer to join our team at the City of Brampton. As a key member of our Planning, Building & Growth Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that building plans meet our city's standards and regulations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating building plans to ensure compliance with local bylaws, building codes, and other regulatory requirements. This will involve conducting site visits, analyzing plans, and providing feedback to developers and builders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate building plans for compliance with local regulations and building codes
  • Conduct site visits to verify plan accuracy and identify potential issues
  • Provide written feedback to developers and builders on plan deficiencies or non-compliance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve plan-related issues
