Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Primecare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our pharmacy, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to meet the needs of our patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
  • Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure that our pharmacy is well-stocked and ready to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our pharmacy is running efficiently.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with tasks such as preparing medications and providing patient education.
