At Fed Supply, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in the Greater Montreal area.

Job Summary:

  • Oversee sea and air imports/exports, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Coordinate delivery arrangements for shipments, guaranteeing timely arrival.
  • Verify OBL documents and submit them to shipping companies, maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Organize necessary documentation for import/export transactions, minimizing delays.
  • Confirm bookings and obtain required approvals, streamlining the process.
  • Book freight with transport companies/agents, optimizing logistics routes.
  • Monitor and track shipments daily, providing real-time updates.
  • Enter shipment data into our ERP system, maintaining accurate records.
  • Process invoices efficiently, ensuring timely payment.
  • Verify customs invoice accuracy, preventing errors.
  • Analyze tariff rates and file duty calls with brokers, maximizing revenue.
  • Support duty drawback claims, reducing costs.
  • Address billing, shipping, and internal issues, implementing preventive measures.
  • Continuously improve internal systems and procedures, enhancing efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in logistics or a related field.
  • CITT and/or CIFFA certifications are considered an asset.
  • At least 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Prior experience in freight transportation is highly valued.
  • Current knowledge of international maritime/air import/export rules and regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and US customs requirements.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an analytical approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to prioritize and organize work effectively.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Experience in managing third-party logistics providers.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package and opportunities for growth and development.
