Job Title: General Manager

The Chapman Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead the Industrial Parks division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing strategic vision and driving business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead the development and implementation of marketing and sales initiatives to attract new businesses and retain existing clients
  • Manage the financial, marketing, sales, leasing, and service divisions to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, and community partners
  • Develop and implement site-level vision, mission, values, and organizational strategies to ensure long-term viability of the Industrial Parks
  • Collaborate with the City of Saint John to create long-term capital programs and asset management within the industrial parks
  • Negotiate contracts, source vendors, and oversee operational expenditure and capital projects to ensure financial and service quality goals are met
  • Actively participate in the hiring and training processes when required
  • Maintain and track the client base and opportunity pipeline to ensure timely communication and client touches
  • Remain current with applicable developments and training to ensure expertise in business development and asset management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in business case and financial analysis
  • Ability to issue spot based on extensive past work experience and formal training received
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in French and English considered an asset
