### Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to oversee the efficient operation of the steam plant at our Irving Pulp & Paper Mill in Saint John, NB. As a key member of the Chemical Recovery & Utilities (CRU) team, you will be responsible for providing the mill with all utilities required to produce a premium Kraft product.

### Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the re-causticizing process, converting process chemicals back to use for the digesting process
* Work closely with the department day staff, including Operational Superintendents, Process Engineers, Maintenance, E/I, and Pulping Team Lead
* Ensure quality and timeliness of work is completed within budgeted parameters
* Adhere to labour contract and ensure compliance
* Communicate with other supervisors to achieve and maintain smooth workflow and high productivity
* Ensure consistent adherence to ISO standards for quality and environmental management
* Ensure adherence to all safety and management policies

### Requirements

* Completion of College / CEGEP / Vocational or Technical Training
* 2-5 years applicable trade experience in an industrial, mechanical, manufacturing or shipbuilding environment
* Problem solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
