We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Collingwood, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to relocate to Cottage Country and enjoy a great work-life balance.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed in the safest manner possible, reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, installing new production equipment, servicing and maintaining current equipment, inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines, troubleshooting mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic breakdowns, adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools, and fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic ticket 433A
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems maintenance
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems
  • Familiarity with all safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer and report writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
  • Good time-management skills

Salary and Work Schedule

The pay rate starts at $37.88 per hour, with a blended rate up to $39.29 per hour. The successful candidate will work 14 days out of 28 each month, with opportunities for overtime. The work schedule includes 12-hour shifts, rotating continental 36 hours one week and 48 hours the second week, and rotation of days and nights biweekly.
